By its very definition, Creative Commons is "a nonprofit organization based on the fact that not all intellectual property owners wish to exercise all rights to it." Whether you need promotional or conviction policy, many creators (artists, scientists, professors ...) are committed to cooperate instead of compete. Creative Commons (CC) seeks to change the face of copyright, supported by a brilliant team of lawyers and technology experts.
Creative Commons is based on a licensing scheme: small or large give up intellectual property for the free flow of ideas and knowledge. The more open the "license allocation," in which the operator can use and distribution of his work without restrictions, provided that there shall be work. If we use the alternative "non-commercial", we allow this act provided that no profit-making (that is ie, give up my work for free to anyone, but not a company that wants to exploit it). The "derivative license" allows the movement of labor but no amendment (ideal, for example, for a writer who wants his novel free but full circle, with no one to touch).
