this post I would like to dedicate it to Ingrid Betancourt, her family, to Colombia and to all who made it possible for other hostage Ingrid both enjoy today's new life of freedom. Ingrid
was almost buried alive for nearly seven years, dragged like a beast for most of the Colombian jungle. His only crime, a Democrat and stand as candidate for president of his country.
is clear that with his release and the rest of the hostages have left many parts victorious. Primarily, the hostages themselves and their families, the Colombian democratic civil society, freedom, the Colombian armed forces and President Uribe. Mainly President Uribe has been strengthened as a leader, manager and as relevant as a statesman.
Moreover, there have been numerous defeated. Mainly the guerrillas and narco-terrorist FARC mafia. And with it, intellectual and logistical partners. I refer to "red gorilla" of the Caribbean and its "Mini-Me" of Ecuador, the Castro dictatorship. Another clear loser is French President Sarkozy (who chose the bad as intermediaries) and finally to all the trash left and liberal, who have given intellectual support to the FARC.
Recently, a family is visiting me, I brought a copy of "Faces and Masks", namely the issue No 352, Friday June 6 hereof. I acknowledge that I have a taste for reading this "post?" Because usually when I was inspired to write many of the posts. Since I'm out of Uruguay, I have the chance to read it so often.
Specifically, in this issue that I noted earlier, I read on page 16 an article entitled "peccadillo" and signed by Edward Platero (former union leader-List ADEOM 112). There is a part of the article reads:
"... Died called Marulanda, and wanted to honor a slain comrade," and we could not even express our sorrow over the demise of that indomitable symbol of rebellion and insurgency the exploited and marginalized. He died undefeated in its territory and not surrendered. ... "
When a hdp like this Edward Platero ( there are many more like him ) is the amorality of this writing, supporting terrorists and their acts, which threaten the freedom of individuals and against democracy in general legitimacy How dare they throw their vindications against acts that occurred 35 years ago against the HR, for example?
Some say here that I lean too far right and I have mania of persecution against the left whatever I do, but want to tell you ....
Other "regression" left, so if fabulous actor, as Federico Luppi, I come to say of those who did not think like him "... what they deserve is that you do a cordon sanitaire ...". Well, that ... moral hemiplegia that said a fellow blogger.
CONGRATULATIONS INGRID AND OTHER HOSTAGES, COLOMBIA CONGRATULATIONS, CONGRATULATIONS FOR FREEDOM AND DEMOCRACY.
